Hot Springs gets help from North Dakota students

Students from North Dakota State University's "Students Today, Leaders Forever" chapter will spend the morning of Wednesday, March 14 assisting the Hot Springs Parks Maintenance Division in clearing brush and debris from the natural surface nature trail at Hill Wheatley Park. They will also add sand to the swim beach. The Hot Springs Parks & Recreation Department will provide the students with a pizza lunch after the work session.

"Students Today, Leaders Forever" is a nationwide movement founded by four college freshmen who brainstormed a program that would change people's perceptions of today's young people, and provide cross-country service and leadership as an alternative college spring break experience. Their mission is to reveal leadership through service relationships and action. They do many local projects throughout the year on their campus and community. Once a year during Spring Break they travel nationwide on the “Pay It Forward Tour.”
