The Hot Springs community is invited to meet and greet the candidates for Hot
Springs City Manager at an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 30 in
the Grand Lobby of the Hot Springs Convention Center. Refreshments will be
served, and the attire is business casual.
The three candidates are Larry
Deetjen of Oak Lawn, IL, Randall Dowling of Gordon County, GA and David Watkins
of Bryan, TX. Ron Holifield of Strategic Government Resources, a professional
search firm from Keller, TX that was contracted by the Board of Directors to
carry out the search for city manager, will oversee the candidates’ schedule of
activities while they are in town.
