Pryor to discuss education, manufacturing on Monday

U.S. Senator Mark Pryor today said that he is looking forward to discussing education and needs in the manufacturing industry on Monday, March 19. 


On Monday, March 19 at 9:15 a.m., Pryor will meet with Dr. Donald Bobbit, Chancellor of the University of Arkansas system to discuss higher education in Arkansas. The meeting will take place at Pryor's office, located at 500 Clinton Avenue, Suite 401 in Little Rock.


At 10 a.m., Pryor will meet with Welspun employees to discuss the Keystone Pipeline and other projects driving Welspun’s success in the pipe industry. Welspun is located at 9301 Frazier Pike in Little Rock.


At 11:15 a.m., Pryor will tour the Hawker Beechcraft completion center and discuss the impact of federal legislation on the aviation industry. The facility is located at 2400 David Grundfest Drive, Bldg. 100 in Little Rock.
