City occupation taxes must be paid no later than March 31,
2012 for all businesses operating within city limits or conducting business
within the city limits. On April 1, a 10% penalty will be applied to all unpaid
businesses. Those owning a business that closed in 2011 that received a 2012
occupation tax statement, must give written notice to the city revenue office to
have the business removed from the tax rolls.
Payments may be made at the Bill
Edwards Center, 517 Airport Road, Suite C, Room 12, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5
p.m. City Ordinance 3836 requires any business operating in the city to obtain
