Governor Beebe made 32 appointments to boards and commissions


Governor Mike Beebe recently announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:
Billy "Scott" Berna, Fayetteville, to the Burial Association Board.  Appointment expires December 31, 2016.  Replaces Donald Martin.

Steve Case, Batesville, reappointed to the Boiler Advisory Board.  Appointment expires January 14, 2016.

John Chambers III, Danville, reappointed to the Arkansas Tech University Board of Trustees.  Appointment expires January 14, 2016.

Robert Coon, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Service Commission.  Appointment expires January 14, 2015.

Fred Fowlkes, Vilonia, to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission.  Appointment expires January 14, 2019.  Replaces Alec Farmer.

Georgette Garner, Eureka Springs, reappointed to the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission.  Appointment expires January 14, 2018.

Normal Gilchrest, Brinkley, to the Burial Association Board.  Appointment expires December 31, 2012.  Replaces Tony Lance.

Stephen Giles, Little Rock, to the Commission on the Study of Landlord-Tenant Laws.  Appointee serves at the will of the governor.

John Harrington, Greenbrier, reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Registration for Professional Soil Classifiers.  Appointment expires November 1, 2016.

Joel Harrison, Judsonia, reappointed to the Arkansas Science and Technology Authority.  Appointment expires January 14, 2016.

Maurice Henry, Fulton, to the Arkansas Fire Protection Licensing Board.  Appointment expires April 1, 2014.  Replaces Jimmie Skender.

Jerry Hunton, Prairie Grove, to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission.  Appointment expires January 14, 2019.  Replaces Jerry Mitchell.

Ben Kaufman, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Division of Volunteerism Advisory Council.  Appointment expires January 7, 2015.  Replaces Regina Wilkerson.

Vandy Nash, North Little Rock, to the Arkansas Commission on Eye and Vision Care of School Age Children.  Appointee serves at the will of the governor.  Replaces Peggy Young.

Kristin Pawlik, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape, and Domestic Violence Commission.  Appointment expires July 1, 2013.  Replaces Christina Carr.

Dwayne Raper, Ashdown, reappointed to the Red River Commission.  Appointment expires January 14, 2019.

Tim Reeves, Jonesboro, reappointed to the Arkansas Service Commission.  Appointment expires January 14, 2015.

Wanda Roe, Pea Ridge, reappointed to the Arkansas Humanities Council.  Appointment expires December 31, 2014.

Dr. Steven Strode, Sherwood, to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council.  Appointment expires July 1, 2014.  Replaces Dr. Rodney Dixon.

Henry "Ford" Trotter, Pine Bluff, to the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission.  Appointment expires January 14, 2016.  Replaces Joe Morgan.

David Washington, Calico Rock, reappointed to the Waterwell Construction Commission.  Appointment expires January 14, 2017.
