Update on Garland County wildfire

At 2:49 p.m. Lt. James "Corky" Martin of the Garland County Sheriff's Department updated his previous alert.

The fire on Tena Herron is approximately 10 acres in size, with the Cecil Adams fire at 3 acres in size. We are being told that the fire on Cecil Adams was started by embers from the Tena Herron blaze. No homes have been destroyed at this time, but they are still in immediate danger. A strong storm, with winds up to 50 MPH, is reportedly blowing in from the east and may be coming through this section of Garland County.
