Great website available for motorcycling in Arkansas

Like to ride? If you’re big on motorcycling, the Natural State has what you’re looking for: great expanses of wide open roads through the Delta, challenging curves through the Ozarks and undulating ribbons of blacktop through the Ouachitas.

Arkansas is blessed with great terrain for riders of every level. Now you can easily find great places to rev your engines and enjoy an adventure, just a click away.

Check out our motorcycle microsite on the Arkansas website at http://www.arkansas.com/outdoors/motorcycling/. On this page you’ll find everything you need before you hit the asphalt. There are brochures to print out with riding opportunities both along some of the best stretches of highway in the state and through and around our more popular cities; links to motorcycling events and where to rent a bike for the day; and information on finding Civil War sites and trails to explore.

New to the website: Tank Maps. These handy printer-ready maps are designed with the rider in mind. Take yours and explore some of the most magnificent rides, including great scenic views near Harrison and Jasper; a Central Arkansas adventure through rolling hills and over the Arkansas River; a heritage journey that will take you around and down through Mountain View; and a map giving you the routes you’ll need to conquer Arkansas’s Great River Road.

Our motorcycling microsite has already proven popular with travelers. The last edition of our Let’s Ride brochure was downloaded more than 10,000 times; the recent edition has been downloaded more than 1900 times in the past two months. The Let’s Ride Civil War brochure has been downloaded more than 2300 times. These resources have been incredibly popular with riders, and we expect our Tank Maps to see a lot of action as well.
