The channels are changing the way people consume video through quality programming specifically created for the online environment. The short-form content is easy to find, easy to consume and easy to share. Recently launched shows on eHow Pets include:
Farm Raised – from sheep to chickens to donkeys, there are a lot of helping paws, claws and hooves on Moss Mountain Farm, hosted by P. Allen Smith
Smudge & Squeak (Defenders of the Flock) – a look into life on Moss Mountain Farm through the story of a new puppy duo that will be trained as sheep herders
Smith remarks, “The brand already involved animal topics given my history of raising livestock, poultry and pets. I have also been active for many years in poultry conservation initiatives. I was overjoyed when eHow approached me to show how easy it can be to care for all of my different pets and animals.”
The new show called Farm Raised has a charming cast of characters.
The show will introduce Moose, The Freeloading Donkey, and Trudy, The Horse You Can’t Ride. There’s also a "Jack Rat" terrier called Angel, The Farm Boss; Zeus, and The Stud (a ram, that is.) Then there is Walter, The High Strung Indian Runner Duck, who is in a panic! Amos and his Harem (of Buff Orphington chickens) and Fred and Ethel --the Swan couple looking for their first cygnet are also featured. The Mayor of Poultryville is a Black Tom Turkey that governs the flock of poultry, keeping the peace among its feathered citizenry.
The newest farm members, Smudge and Squeak, are the Anatolian Shepherd sisters who are in training to learn how to protect the sheep that Smith raises. Watch them on Smudge & Squeak (Defenders of the Flock.)
