Summer Write Out July 23

The Hot Springs Village Writers’ Club will host a “Summer Write-Out” at Balboa Beach near the Pavilion beginning at 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 23. Writers will use what they see as inspiration to write.

All writers are invited to attend, members of the writers’ club or not. There will be some suggested creative writing exercises, or writers may choose their own subject. Writers will read their work beginning at 10, time limited depending on the number of readers.

If you are from outside the Village, email and we will arrange for your passage through the gates. Specify West or East Gate for entry. Balboa Beach is nearer to the East Gate, between DeSoto and Balearic on Ponce de Leon.

The Village Writers’ Club encourages the art of writing through educational and inspirational programs and the critical sharing of work. The club meets at the Home Plate Café on the fourth Monday of each month, except July and August. A brief business meeting is followed by a presentation related to writing or publishing.
