Due to the oppressive heat and excessive water consumption, it is imperative
that residents be extremely conservative when using water for landscaping.
For this reason, the Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association will
enforce water conservation regulations.
These regulations include (1)
odd/even – with odd numbered properties watering on odd calendar days and
even numbered properties watering on even numbered days, and (2) landscape
irrigation during non-daylight hours.
Water treatment capacity is
currently limited to 4 million gallons per day. Expansion of the water
treatment plant is in the design stage.
Until the expansion is complete,
Village residents are asked to conserve and control usage of potable
water.
The POA will begin patrolling for water restriction violators. If
the situation does not improve, the POA may be required to take
more drastic measures, which may include banning all outside water
use.
The POA appreciates your cooperation in following the
water conservation regulations.
