NPCC Singers start rehearsals for November performance

The National Park Community College Singers, under the direction of Denise Edds, and the Hot Springs Music Festival Chorus, under the direction of Lynn Payette, announce the start of rehearsals for their upcoming combined performance of the John Rutter Requiem on Sunday, November 24, 3:00 p.m., at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
All interested singers can sign up for rehearsals on Mondays/Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., during the NPCC Singers’ rehearsals on the College campus by calling Mrs. Denise Edds, 501-844-6414; or, on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m., through the NPCC Community College Choir, which will meet with the Hot Springs Music Festival Chorus, by calling Mrs. Lynn Payette, 501-655-6198. The Hot Springs Music Festival Chorus meets at St Luke’s Episcopal Church, 229 Spring St., Hot Springs.

Rehearsals begin in August.

The work will be accompanied by members of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Vocal solos will be announced.

All past NPCC Singers’ members and other community singers are encouraged to join rehearsals for this special musical presentation.
