Bridge inspection coming up next week near Malvern

A routine bridge inspection will require lane closures on Interstate 30 in Hot Spring County next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The work will require the eastbound outside lane of Interstate 30 to be closed over the Ouachita River near Malvern.  It will be closed Monday, August 5^th and Tuesday, August 6^th between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.  Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs. 

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
