The School of Religious Studies (SRS) Annual Community “Capital Awards
Banquet”. Each year SRS hosts this televised banquet to honor ordinary citizens
in the community doing extraordinary things. I’m so Excited because this year,
the school is celebrating 35 years in existence and 14 years of
hosting the Annual Capital Awards Banquet here is Arkansas. The banquet will
have great food, entertainment, and of course awards for category winners. It
is a semi-formal/formal affair. We are wanting to get this email out in hopes
that others will join us in congratulating our neighbors on a job well done, but
also to encourage nominations. Anyone can nominate a deserving individual or
organization who has contributed in service to their church, and/or community in
some way. Nomination categories are listed below.
Event takes place October 12, 2013, 6:30 PM at the
Jacksonville Community Center.
Tickets to the banquet are only $35 before 9/1/13 and $40
after 9/1. If individuals are purchasing tickets at the door, they are
$45.
Categories: (New Small Business Award, Community
Leader Award, International Missions Award, Community Organization Award,
Survivor Award, Exceptional Youth (Male/Female) award, The Caregiver Award, and
the Outstanding Citizen Award.)
