THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO COME DOWN A BIT TODAY...AS SOME
CONVECTION MATERIALIZES ACROSS THE STATE. THIS WILL LOWER THE
OVERALL HEAT INDEX VALUES AND THEY ARE EXPECTED TO BE BELOW
ADVISORY LEVELS. THIS WILL HAVE TO BE MONITORED...AS VALUES WILL
STILL BE AROUND 100 TO 105 DEGREES IN SPOTS TODAY.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
TODAY AS AN UPPER LEVEL WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS ARKANSAS.
THE BEST CHANCES OF RAIN WILL BE IN THE NORTH AND NORTHEAST...
WHILE LOWER CHANCES TO THE SOUTHWEST. AN ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE
STORM WILL BE POSSIBLE...BUT THE OVERALL THREAT OF SEVERE STORMS
WILL REMAIN ISOLATED AND BE LOW.

THE WILDFIRE DANGER WILL REMAIN HIGH TO EXTREME TODAY DUE TO THE
ONGOING DROUGHT AND CONTINUED HOT TEMPERATURES. ANY RAIN THAT IS
SEEN IS EXPECTED TO BE LOW...AND NO WIDESPREAD RAINFALL IS
EXPECTED IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE TO BRING MUCH RELIEF TO THE
DROUGHT. BURN BANS ARE IN PLACE OVER MOST COUNTIES OF ARKANSAS AND
BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO COME DOWN A BIT OVER THE SEVERAL DAYS AS
SOME CONVECTION MATERIALIZES ACROSS THE STATE. THIS WILL LOWER THE
OVERALL HEAT INDEX VALUES AND THEY ARE EXPECTED TO BE BELOW
ADVISORY LEVELS. HOWEVER...THIS WILL HAVE TO BE MONITORED...AS
VALUES WILL STILL BE AROUND 100 TO 105 DEGREES IN SPOTS...AND IF
THE UPPER HIGH PRESSURE REBUILDS BACK TOWARD ARKANSAS...
TEMPERATURES AND HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL AGAIN RISE.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
AT TIMES DUE TO SOME UPPER LEVEL WEATHER SYSTEMS THAT WILL MOVE
ACROSS ARKANSAS. ALSO A WEAK FRONT MAY ALSO SAG INTO ARKANSAS
OVER THE WEEKEND...HOWEVER THE OVERALL RAIN AMOUNTS AND COVERAGE
WILL REMAIN LOW...EXCEPT IN ISOLATED LOCATIONS. THE THREAT OF ANY
STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL REMAIN ISOLATED AND BE LOW.

THE WILDFIRE DANGER IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN HIGH TO EXTREME FOR THE
NEXT SEVERAL DAYS DUE TO THE ONGOING DROUGHT AND CONTINUED HOT
TEMPERATURES. ANY RAIN THAT IS SEEN IS EXPECTED TO BE LOW...AND
NO WIDESPREAD RAINFALL IS EXPECTED IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE TO
BRING MUCH RELIEF TO THE DROUGHT.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED.
