Unitarian Easter service

On Easter Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Village Church, Rev. Bud Hearn bundles two stories, that of Genesis and that of Easter. He offers that both stories reflect the theme of life out of non-life, death and resurrection.

Both focus on the nature of our relatedness not only to one another as humans, but to all living forms of life in the ecosphere. As such, human salvation is linked with all living species, and the earth itself. Easter thus celebrated can revive hope for the future of our home called Earth.
The UU Village Church is located at 403 Barcelona Rd., corner of Barcelona and Calella.
Service begins at 10 a.m., preceded by coffee, cookies and conversation at 9:30. (Note that this is a worship service, a one-time change from our usual second-Sunday Insight.)

Fair Trade products will be available for purchase this Sunday.
