As more working people move to the Village, amenities are taken away they could use

Beginning May 1, the Coronado Library will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The library is located at 150 Ponderosa Lane in the Coronado Community Center.

No more Thursday evening hours when people with 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. jobs could get to the library. Another case of the POA cutting off its nose to spite its face. Cut, cut, cut.

Might as well be  up front and say Hot Springs Village is for retirees only. With one hand invite the masses and their money, with the other hand say you will never be able to serve the community because all the meetings are while you are at work. You will never be able to use the facilities, they will be closed at your convenience. Your life will be dictated by a board of retirees. Your needs will never be considered.

Saturday mornings only, when workers weekly chores at home must be done, doesn't leave time to enjoy the retiree's library. Workers just get to help pay for the library in POA assessments.

  1. As a working person, I have often had issue with this. By the time I get home the roads are being rolled up for the night. Just one of the various reasons we are looking forward to moving.
