What are you doing the night before the Arkansas Derby?
The Muses Creative Artistry Project has an answer, “Why not start the weekend with an evening of music and art in the historic Hale Bath House!”
The Muses’ is proud to present “Inspiration Collaboration”, an event which highlights the creation of both music and art. The Muses is happy to have the music of T.B.A. (Steve Suter and Brent Frazier) act as the inspiration for a collaboration of talented artists who will create works of art as the audience looks on. Participating artists include Robin Hazard-Bishop, Carole Katchen, Hugh Dunnahoe and Deleen Davidson.
The concept behind the event is simply the act of creation – in music and art. The audience can observe the creative process first-hand as the musicians create music while the artists paint. The inspiration for the works of art can either be the music, the performers, the historic venue, or even those in the audience enjoying the experience.
Better yet, the art will be available for purchase for those who wish to commemorate this special evening.
A special bonus to those attending the event is the opportunity to stroll through the historic Hale Bath House, which has been closed to the public since 1968.
Inspiration Collaboration will happen at 6pm on Friday, April 13. The cost of the event is only $10 per person. Wine and light hors d’oeuvres will be served . For more information please call (501) 463-4514 or visit www.themusesproject.org .
