Louisianians will gather at 5 p.m. Bring favorite beverages and hors d'oeuvres to share with old and new friends.

Denton's Trotline will be cooking on-site, good catfish, shrimp and chicken served with the usual sides. Serving time is 6 p.m.

Larry Wilson will entertain with lively Cajun music and there'll be 'second-line dancing' led by Al and Gail Sheasby. Wear Louisiana attire and beads, and bring a white handkerchief or beaded umbrella to join in the dance.

The cost this year will be $11. Make checks out to LOUISIANA PICNIC and mail to Larry or Sandy Edmonson at 3 Joya Lane, HSV, 71909. Checks must be received by May 1. Please get checks in now and note address, phone number, and names of those the amount covers.

Carol Jameston at 922-9369 is the contact for information. Circle May 8 on your calendar, and "Laissez les bon temps rouler"..... we'll surely 'Let the good times roll'.
