POA political sign policy

The Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association planning and inspections department would like to remind all property owners of the political sign procedure in effect for Hot Springs Village.

Political signs may not exceed 300 square inches (ex: 20” x 15”). Only one sign is permitted for each specific candidate or referendum item. Two identical signs attached back to back on one post shall count as one sign. No more than three total signs can be placed on posts located on properties with houses. No signs can be placed on the road right of way, at intersections, on common property or on vacant lots.

Political signs may be erected no sooner than 25 days prior to an election and must be removed within five days following the election. This period also includes any campaign requiring a run-off election or recount.

If you have any questions, please contact the Planning and Inspections Department at 922-5562.
