Pryor schedule in Arkansas
U.S. Senator Mark Pryor announced that he will continue to travel around the state to discuss economic development and his initiatives to boost job creation in Arkansas.
On Monday, April 9 at 9:30 a.m., Pryor will join the Camden Chamber of Commerce to discuss hot topics and his work in the U.S. Senate on behalf of Camden. The event will take place in the Community Room of the Farmers Bankers and Trust Company, 116 Jefferson Street in Camden.
At 12 p.m., Pryor will provide an update on his Six-Point Solution to Job Creation with the El Dorado Rotary Club. The meeting will take place at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 512 Champagnolle Road in El Dorado.
At 2 p.m., Pryor will tour and meet with employees at the Albemarle Corporation, one of the world’s largest suppliers of bromine and bromine chemicals. The tour will take place at 2270 Highway 79 South in Magnolia.
At 3:15 p.m., Pryor will tour JEVAC Machine, Inc. and visit with employees about issues impacting the aircraft and aerospace industry. JEVAC is located at 2570 Columbia 47, Logoly Road in Magnolia.
On Tuesday, April 10 at 9:30 a.m., Pryor will meet with Benton Mayor David Mattingly to discuss the ongoing construction on Lower Military Road. The city received $15 million for construction as a result of the 2009 Recovery Act, also known as the stimulus package. The meeting will take place at City Hall, 114 South East Street in Benton.
At 11:30 a.m., Pryor will speak with the Benton, Bauxite, and Bryant Rotary about his Six Point Solution to spur job creation in Arkansas. The event will take place at Brown’s Country Store and Restaurant, 18718 Interstate 30 in Benton.
At 3:30 p.m., Pryor will visit with Grand Prairie Board Members and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) leadership to discuss the future of the Grand Prairie Area Demonstration Project, a comprehensive water management plan. The meeting will begin at the intersection of Webb Lake Road and Fire Tower Road in DeValls Bluff.
On Wednesday, April 11 at 10:15 a.m., Pryor will tour BASF Chemical Company, located at 100 Bridgeport Road in West Memphis.
At 11:30 a.m., Pryor will meet with West Memphis officials to discuss the West Memphis Intermodal Authority Project. The meeting will take place at 1550 North Ingram Boulevard in West Memphis.
At 12 p.m., Pryor will speak with the West Memphis Chamber of Commerce about his plans to spur economic growth in Arkansas. The lunch will take place at 1550 North Ingram Boulevard in West Memphis.
At 1:30 p.m., Pryor will meet with students and tour Mid-South College’s new renewable energy building. The tour will take place at 350 College Boulevard in West Memphis.
