Representatives from the American Ramp Company will be on hand to present and
discuss the design of the new Valley Street Skatepark from 2 to 4 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 2 at the Transportation Depot, 100 Broadway Terrace. The public
is welcome to attend.
ARC is a
skater-owned and operated company based in Joplin, Missouri. The skatepark will
be built on city-owned property located at 411 Valley Street. Skatepark
construction will begin in late summer and is expected to be completed in the
fall.
