A telephone tip led to the discovery of missing 71 year-old Jessieville resident Dan Roberson's body on Saturday in a remote wooded area on Gladstone Road off Highway 7 in Northern Garland County bordering Perry County. Roberson's body was found on U.S. Forest Service property.
The Garland County Sheriff's Department is treating Roberson's death as a homicide. A Special Agent with the FBI is assisting with evidence recovery and processing the scene of the crime.
Two individuals are in custody but no one has been charged, yet. The names will not be released until there is an official arrest.
