Burn ban in Hot Springs

The Hot Springs Fire Department has issued a burn ban, effective immediately, for all areas within the City of Hot Springs.  All open burning is prohibited. Residents are advised to be vigilant when operating equipment such as lawnmowers that could spark and ignite a fire. The ban will be lifted when an appreciable amount of precipitation alleviates the current dry conditions.
