Traveling day camps at Parking Archeological State Park

Dates: July 17-19 for 8-12 years old and July 31 to August 2 for 13-16 years old

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day

Cost: $75 per child (includes 2 snacks and lunch per day and transportation, admission, and craft materials)

The Parkin Archeological State Park Traveling Day Camps are for kids aged 8 to 12 or 13 to 16 who want to have a fantastic time exploring different attractions in the Parkin vicinity. From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on July 17th through July 19th for the younger ones and July 31st through August 2nd for the older ones, park staff will whisk your kids from one fun activity to another, only stopping for snacks and lunch (all provided by the park). The cost is $75 per child and this fee covers all food, transportation, admissions, and craft materials. They will learn tons about the area and have fun at the same time!
Pre-registration with a $35 deposit is required. Interested families must contact the visitor center at 870.755.2500 and ask for Park Interpreter Mel email or mel.harvey@arkansas.gov to receive an information and registration packet. Each camp is limited to 16 children, and spots are quickly filling.
