Hot Springs receives GIF grant award for bicycle trail watch program
Executive director Dwayne Pratt, right, of the West Central Planning and Development District in Hot Springs presented a $5,000 payment today from its 2011-12 general improvement funds (GIF) grant program to the City of Hot Springs for a bicycle trail watch program on the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail. Attending the check presentation were, from left, Police Chief David Flory; Mayor Ruth Carney; City Manager Lance Hudnell; District 25 State Representative John Vines; Parks & Recreation Director Jean Wallace; and Pratt.
