City manager recounts city milestones for members of Rotary Club of Oaklawn

At the Oaklawn Rotary Club’s recent regular weekly meeting, City Manager Lance Hudnell took club members on a tour through the last 34 years of city history, beginning in 1977, when he was first hired as an administrative assistant to the mayor.

Hudnell, who will retire in June, recounted the city’s challenges, accomplishments and milestones during the last three decades, and challenged club members to “move beyond the ‘good enough is good enough’ attitude” to continue Hot Springs’ progress.

Oaklawn Rotary meets each Monday at noon at the Austin Hotel.
