The May meeting will be Thursday, May 17 at
2 p.m. in room 6 at the Coronado Center.
Myron Means, AR Game & Fish Commission will be the guest
speaker. He will be presenting a program about bears and their habitat. It's a
timely topic since this is the time of year that bears might be found wandering
in the Village.
The business meeting follows our guest speaker and a coffee
break
There will be no meetings in June, July or August. The
next meeting will be September 20.
FUNDRAISER REMINDER
Don't forget to shop for bar supplies at
Mountain Wine & Spirits on Thursday, June 7. 5% of the day's
sales will be donated to AWL for our shelter pets.
Business hours are 8 a.m. to 8p.m. Mountain Wine & Spirits is on Hwy. 7 south of Walmart.
ALUMINUM CAN COLLECTIONS
Save your aluminum beverage cans for AWL!
Deposit them in the yellow dumpster at the HSV Recycling Center during
M-F business hours or leave them in the outdoor bin near the exit at the HSV
Shelter 24/7. Please remember that we can recycle ONLY BEVERAGE CANS. No
other kinds of aluminum can be included. We are charged for sorting out other
items in the bags. The cans are a major source of revenue and an easy way to
donate to the League.

mobile clinic at the Fountain Lake Fire Station on Hwys. 5 & 128. We are
