Hot Springs Memorial Day holiday closings

All city offices, except public safety and the airport, will be closed on Monday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. Residential sanitation collection and Earth Angel recycling collection will run one day behind schedule (Monday on Tuesday, Tuesday on Wednesday, and so forth). Commercial collection, roll off and downtown routes will take place as scheduled, and the office will be closed. Intracity Transit bus and paratransit routes will not run, and the city compost facility will be closed. The Mountain Xpress, the free summer shuttle bus service covering Hot Springs Mountain and downtown, will begin operating on Saturday, May 26 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., running throughout Memorial Day weekend and continuing weekends and holidays through Labor Day.
