Teen Challenge looks back on 2011

The tornado that ripped through North Highway 7 in April, turned our family and the surrounding community on it's side. The process of putting the pieces back together has been met with many obstacles for us and our neighbors, but the support that we have all received from the Hot Springs community and our friends and supporters has been the foundation on which we have been able to keep going in spite of those obstacles.

Our Executive Director, Tim Culbreth, his wife Sallie, and their two children, Anne and Dan, celebrated and remembered the sacrifices and building of thirty years of service to, and the growth of the Teen Challenge of Arkansas Ministry.

We have said goodbye to and mourned the lives of a lot of life long friends of Teen Challenge of Arkansas this past year.

The fundraising concert that was hosted by staff member, Judy McEarl, and the organization, The Witness, was a resounding success! We were in awe at the amount of people who attended the concert in support of Teen Challenge, and the beauty of the production itself.

Our annual Golf Tournament was a huge success this year. With the guidance and hard work of Chairman, Jerry Clark, and members of the Teen Challenge Ladies Guild, we were able to set the foundation for many more successful tournaments in the years to come.

As we look back over the events of the year, we gather the strength and the energy to face the year ahead. We pray that all of those events of 2011 have given us a new perspective, and the tools to walk into 2012 with faith, hope, tenacity, and gratitude for all the prayers, love and support that have been poured upon us!

We humbly thank each and every one of you, and pray that your New Year is bountiful, peaceful, and full of love!
