Traffic stop arrest in Garland County

Garland County Deputies John Schroeder and Sean Weston were patrolling in the Hwy 70 West area when they observed a blue vehicle, traveling East bound, with only one operational headlight.

A traffic stop was conducted at Walnut Hill and South Rogers Road. Deputies noticed that Freeman appeared to be under the influence of a stimulant. When asked if she had any drugs on her, she reportedly pulled out two small baggies of an off-white powder, which tested positive for methamphetamine.

Standridge gave consent to search the vehicle and deputies found more powder and a syringe, hidden under the gear shift.

Freeman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Standridge was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
