Hot Springs Village POA is offering mulch created from last spring’s storm debris to Village residents for their spring landscaping and gardening projects.
The mulch will be available beginning Wednesday, February 1 at the old gravel pit site (turn on Turlingua Drive, off of DeSoto, then left on Deposito Paseo,) from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or until the supply is exhausted.
The mulch is free of charge to residents for their personal use. The mulch is not available to commercial entities. The mulch is made up largely from pine trees that were cleared from the storm debris on common property. Residents will need to bring the tools necessary to load and haul the mulch from the site.
Residents should use caution when entering and exiting the site as Public Works is still hauling debris to the site.
Contact Public Works at 922-5524 or 922-5528 for further information.
