Residential burglary arrest in Garland County

While on patrol in Garland County, Sgt. Williams and Deputy McConnell responded to a burglary alarm on Little John Trail. Once on scene they observed a door that had been partially kicked in, but access had not been gained.

Approximately 50 minutes later a neighbor called and advised dispatchers that a small blue car was sitting at the address of the alarm and that 2 males had exited the car and entered the residence. The witness further stated that the two males exited the residence with a flat screen TV, placed it in the vehicle and then left.

McConnell responded to the residence while Sgt. Williams sat in the area watching for the vehicle. A few minutes later a small blue Honda Accord passed Sgt. Williams and was stopped on Central Avenue.

As Williams approached the vehicle he observed a white male (Jerry White) in the backseat, using his body to cover a large flat screen TV. Also in the vehicle were Steven White and Ariel Dexter.

The witness was able to identify both Steven White and Jerry White as being the two that had entered the residence and stolen the TV.

All there were taken into custody and charged with Residential Burglary.
