Two meetings will be held later this month to receive public input on Community Development Block Program (CDBG) priority needs. One meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 23, and the second meeting will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25. Both meetings will be held in the Board Chambers at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard.
The Hot Springs Board of Directors has requested citizen input to help identify the priority needs in the city that the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program can address. All projects must meet U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) national objectives.
Public comments can also be received until January 31 through an online survey at http://www.cityhs.net/departments_planning_development_housing_survey.html . Surveys are also available in hard copy form at the Community Development office, 111 Opera Street, weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Comments and survey forms may also be submitted via mail, e-mail, in person, or fax to Gerald Harman, Community Development Administrator, gharman@cityhs.net, fax 501-321-6868, or mail to: City of Hot Springs, 111 Opera Street, Hot Springs Arkansas, 71901, Attn: Gerald Harman.
