Today, January 3, the Arkansas State Crime Lab identified the body found off Main Haul Road in rural Garland County New Year's Eve morning. As suspected, it was the body of Hot Springs Village police dispatcher, Dawna J. Natzke. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
According to Lt. James "Corky" Martin of the Garland County Sheriff's Department, it may take another four to five days for a definitive cause of death.
No arrests have been made at this time.
