According to Lt. James "Corky" Martin of the Garland County Sheriff's Department, "although we are still awaiting autopsy results from the Arkansas State Crime Lab, we do have enough preliminary information to announce that we are investigating this case as a homicide and we do have a person of interest. At this point we are not releasing any names."
He added, "For reasons detrimental to the case, once we do get the results back from the lab, we will not be able to release the manor or cause of death, nor any other particulars related to the manor or cause."
No arrests have been made at this time.

It takes GCSO a couple of days to make a case!Whats wrong Cornett all those years at the FBI didnt teach a pencil pusher nothing but how to be a butt and a know it all!! We all know that you are covering up something between you and the general manger !! Haha this will cost both of you your jobs its to bad Dawna lost her life and her killer will more than likley go free because you were in OK. and didnt want to drive back ??? you should have turned it over to GCSO and state Police as soon as you found out !!! Peolpe of the village need to push Cornett out and his buddy the general manger BECAUSE they are DIRTY !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey seem to be guilty of much more than simple mis-management.
ReplyDeleteThere were police officers at the party at Randall's home. Dawna was abducted and murdered. Any decent human being would have stepped in to defend her or (at the very least), call 911 for help. What a shame that even calling 911 would not have helped in this situation, since the local police were clearly not interested in protecting Dawna. It is a illegal to cover up a crime.
Here is a link to a must-read for those who are concerned about seeing justice for Dawna:
