Watch out for closure Monday night

The city of Hot Springs is requesting lane closures on a section of Highway 7 (Central Avenue), according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

On Monday, the city of Hot Springs will replace a transformer at Fordyce Bathhouse located at 369 Central Avenue. The work will require closing the northbound lanes of Central Avenue from just north of Reserve Street to just north of Fordyce Bathhouse.

The closure will be Monday night, May 20^th between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled by warning signs and flaggers.
