U.S. Senator Mark Pryor, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Communications,
Technology, and the Internet, and the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce
will co-host a Small Business Social Media Town Hall on May 31st in Little Rock,
Arkansas. During the event, representatives from Facebook, Google, Twitter, and
Yelp will share tips on how Arkansas small businesses can leverage social media
to expand their consumer base and succeed in today’s global
economy.
“Small businesses need determination, ingenuity, and mastery of
the Internet and social media to succeed in today’s competitive economy,” Pryor
said. “This Small Business Social Media Town Hall will give Arkansas businesses
the skills and tools they need to reach new customers and increase
profits.”
"Considering the significant increase in technology in just the
past decade, the clear challenge faced by small business is to adapt and utilize
