Citizens needing a place to stay warm can go to the Red Cross shelter in Hall D
of the Hot Springs Convention Center, 134 Convention Boulevard.
The Red Cross shelter will be available until the current weather crisis is
over. The shelter will need to be accessed from Church Street at the back door
of the Convention Center’s Hall D. Doors will be locked from 9 p.m. until 8 a.m.
each day. Citizens are asked to bring any medications or oxygen equipment they
may need, along with extra blankets and pillows. Food will be provided, and
citizens are allowed to bring toys, board games and cards with them. Call 620-5044 for more information.
