To get patrons in the mood for the February Kiss Me Kate production, the Royal Players are offering a special Valentine-themed dinner theatre, Celebrating Love, February 11, at the Christian Life Center at First United Methodist Church Benton, 200 N. Market St., Benton. Catering is by Just Leave It to Liz. There will be cabaret-styled entertainment from some of the Royal Players and other community musicians. Time for dinner is 6:30 p.m. with program at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person. Patrons can call 501-315-1663 or 681-5986 or simply mail check to Sam Stueart, 1717 Teresa Cr., Benton, 72019 and pick up tickets at the door.
Brent Jackson will serve as master of ceremonies and will also be performing. Lynda Hollenbeck is coordinating the entertainment which includes a number or two from Kiss Me Kate and The Fantasticks. Among those performing will be Warren Walker, Daphne Shoppach, Koty Mansfield, Angela Morgan, Matthew McCallister, Tamara Maertens, Misti Hart, Hollenbeck, and others.
