Come meet Dr. Dig It!: Eccentric archeologist Dr. Dig-It returns to demonstrate how archeology helps discover the story of the past. Come along on a short 'dig' to see methods and how the story is uncovered.

What’s for Dinner? : Food is such a big part of our daily lives. Come find out what food stuff people of the early 1800’s Arkansas were munching on! How do we know this? Archeology of course!

Black Powder and Steel: Early Arkansas was a melting pot of culture inhabited by fur traders, trappers, merchants, farmers, and other frontiersman who made the most of lush forests and the variety of animals. Of course, danger was always around the corner. Find out more about the weapons of the day and how they helped shape early Arkansas.

1800 Wheelers of the 1800’s: Keelboats and flatboats dominated the Black, Spring, and Eleven Point Rivers during the early 1800’s. Discover what sort of roles these vessels played on the early frontier and how they helped shape early Arkansas. We will also be firing off the keelboat cannon!!

Demonstrations by the EHC Quilters: Living on the frontier was not an easy task. Domestic skills were a must for any family. Come by the EHC booth and learn about these early quilting and other domestic tasks associated with frontier life.

Dutch Oven Cooking! : Come meet our Randolph County 4-H history Diggers as they teach about this early cooking vessel and prepare some yummy treats. Treats are available for purchase. $2.00 per treat.

Spring Break Adventure Camp
March 21-23
9 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day
Kids out for Spring Break and you have to work? Want something fun and exciting for them to do? Sign them up for the overnight Adventure Camp! Your kids will get to explore Davidsonville Historic State Park learning about history, nature, and archeology!! Children 7-12 only. Space is limited and reservations are required. Call park for more details.

Admission: $ 50.00 per child. Ask about family discounts.
