Shakespeare in the Park at Historic Washington Park. See Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” performed by the American Shakespeare Center of Staunton, Virginia on Saturday, February 18, at 1940 WPA Gym. There is a pre-performance show at 7 p.m. and the performance at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 Children (6-12 years old). The afternoon workshops have a $5 fee. Minimum age for the workshops is 14 years old. Workshops include: Shakespeare on a Modern Stage at 2 p.m.and Shakespeare and Etiquette/Heckling at 4 p.m.
Williams’ Tavern Restaurant opens at 5 p.m. at Historic Washington Park.
