Yesterday I volunteered to be served with a "warrant" to assist St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the "Doin' Time for Kids" fundraiser at Orr Cadillac.
Through the generous donations of the terrific citizens in our community, I was able to meet my $500 bail......and exceed it by over $600. In total, $1130.00 was donated to St. Jude.
I would like to thank everyone who donated and provided assistance in raising the money and getting me out of "jail" early. Your money has gone to a worthy cause.
A special thank you goes out to Kathy Nichols for getting me involved in such a wonderful event and helping me to collect donations.
