A four-session birding workshop sponsored by the Village Audubon Society will be held the first four Tuesday mornings in March at the Coronado Center. The cost is $12 and is payable at the first workshop attended; please arrive early to pay by cash or check.
Each workshop will begin at 8:30 and last until around 10:00. Then participants will move outdoors for an hour or so to look at and identify birds. The workshops are taught by Keith Salisbury; contact Keith at 922-9055 for further information.
Although attending all the workshops is certainly desirable, each is basically independent of the others, so information presented in any of the workshops is beneficial whether or not all the other workshops are attended.
The workshops will not only teach how to identify birds, it will also discuss bird field guides (books) and how to purchase and correctly adjust binoculars.
