Walk for cancer research

On Saturday 9/28 at the Cortez Pavilion,  the annual Village Walk For Cancer Research event will once again take place. This is the largest fund raiser in the Village for the fight against cancer and will be attended by a wide variety of people and organizations. In attendance will be cancer survivors and their supporters, University of Arkansas Medical Sciences doctors/staff, care givers and other medical personnel.

 Don't let the word WALK scare you off ! You don't have to Walk to participate in this event. There will be music and food and informational booths to keep you occupied and many people attend to support loved ones who have cancer and to remember others that have fought cancer in the past. Form a team and come to support those who you care so much about ! All money raised stays in Arkansas and is used for cancer research at UAMS, Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute in Little Rock.
