Message from the Garland County Sheriff's Department

The Garland County Sheriff's Department has had numerous phone calls and concerns this afternoon, over posts on Facebook, of one white male and two black males selling Kirby vacuum cleaners. The posts indicate that these three are wanted for, and are suspects in, burglaries in the Cutter Morning Star area and are driving a Chevy Tahoe and may be accompanied by two males on motorcycles.

These individuals, who are actually in a Dodge Durango and are not accompanied by anyone, have been contacted by us and appear to be legitimate. They are not being sought by, or wanted by, the Sheriff's Department.

Any posts or accusations that they are wanted or are suspects, is false and is not information that is coming from this agency.

We would remind everyone to remain vigilant and contact us with any suspicious vehicles or activity in your neighborhoods, but to also be aware of posting incorrect information on social media sights.
