Arrests in Village crimes


Ricky Middleton, interim director, Hot Springs Village department of public safety, Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association announced the arrest of two Hot Springs men.

Seth White, age 20, was arrested for eight counts of Breaking or Entering and one count of Theft of Property over $1,000, all are class D Felonies.

Kenneth Logan Morrison, age 20, was arrested for eight counts of Breaking or Entering, and one count of Theft of Property over $1,000, all are class D felonies.

An investigation by the Hot Springs Village Police Department determined that on the night of December 6, Kenneth Logan Morrison and/or Seth White came into the Village with two other male companions. While in the Village they entered at least eight unlocked vehicles and took property from within.

Morrison was arrested on January 16 by officers of the Hot Springs Village Police Department with the assistance of Garland County Bailiff’s, White was arrested on January 18 by officers of the Hot Springs Village Police Department with the assistance of Garland County Sheriff’s Department and both were booked into the Garland County Jail in lieu of a $3,000 bond each.

If convicted, each man could be sentenced not to exceed six years on each of the nine felony charges, and fined up to $10,000 on each count.
