Who: Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation
What: Press conferences in Central Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas announcing the release of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation’s 2013 immigrant study, A Profile of Immigrants in Arkansas. This new three-volume report describes the demographic characteristics of the state’s immigrant population, their economic and fiscal impact, and the state’s Marshallese community. The report is a follow-up to a similar study in 2007.
During the press conferences, which will also be available via live stream on the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation website, the researchers will present the findings from the report and community and business leaders will talk about how the report can be used to engage in data-driven conversation about the impact of immigrants on our state’s communities and economy.
