Hot Springs airport art

The public is invited to an art exhibit opening reception from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 19 at Hot Springs Memorial Field, 525 Airport Road. This month’s exhibit is by Traditional Art Guild member and long-time professional artist June Lamoureax. The exhibit will remain on display until mid-February.

Having moved to the Hot Springs area recently, Lamoureax will be displaying her art at the airport for the first time.  On display will be outdoor scenes in pen and ink and watercolor/mixed media pieces of colorful and often lighthearted subjects.  Her acrylic paintings are similar to oil paintings in detail and interest.

The third Saturday of every month throughout the year, the airport will host a new art exhibit by a Traditional Art Guild member, beginning with an opening reception. For information on membership, contact TAG President Joanne Kunath at 262-2953.
