The “Choose Your Future” Imagine Central Arkansas Meeting,
set for Thursday, Jan. 24, will give HSV residents the opportunity to help make
decisions that will impact the region.
The meeting, which will be held from
10:30 -11:30 a.m. at the Coronado Community Center, is sponsored by Metroplan,
the metropolitan planning organization developed to expand transportation,
housing and development choices within Faulkner, Lonoke, Pulaski and Saline
counties.
Meeting participants will discuss a variety of regional
issues such traffic congestion, the preservation of parks and other open spaces
and economic development. As an added benefit, participants will be able to see
the impact of those decisions in real-time, utilizing a new website application.
