Support Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts by playing golf

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts will host its 6th annual ASMSA/Cisco golf tournament Friday, July 13 on the Park Course at Hot Springs Country Club. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward completing construction of the library in the new ASMSA Student Center.

“We invite everyone to come out for a fun day of golf, and to support our efforts to complete the new library for ASMSA students,” said Vicki Hinz, ASMSA events coordinator. “Each ASMSA student spends an average of 30 hours each week in the library studying and conducting research. It’s important we complete the construction, so they have safe and easy access to the library in the new building.”

Registration for the four-man scramble begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Early-bird registration continues through June 29 and is $400 per team or $100 for individual players. After June 29, registration is $500 per team and $125 for individuals. The registration includes a day of golf, lunch and a gift bag.

Hole-in-one prizes will be awarded on all par 3’s. Prizes include two tickets to the 2013 U.S. Open (hole #10), airfare and accommodations; two round-trip airline tickets anywhere in the Continental U.S. (hole #7); four-day, three-night golf trip for two to Myrtle Beach, S.C. (hole #15); a set of Callaway Diablo Edge Irons (hole #3).

Prizes will be awarded for the first, second and third place teams, longest drive and closest to the pin. Drawings for door prizes will be held prior to the tournament and again in the afternoon.

Sponsorship opportunities are available.
